Upon Registration

An information package will be sent to you containing details about trip itinerary, logistics, equipment and clothing.

Payment

Programs require full payment for registration.* Fees are payable by personal cheque, money order or cash. Please do not send cash through the mail. Cheques payable to John McFaul.

Cancellations/Refunds (except Nature Adventures, see below)

No refund will be given once the hikes commence except for approved medical reasons, at which point the remaining balance will be refunded.

Postponements

If a hike or program is postponed due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances and you cannot attend the make-up date, then you shall receive a credit toward another hike or program. This credit will apply to the current season as well as the following year.

* Nature Adventures Payments/Refunds *

If Alpenglow can find a replacement, then a full refund will be given. If not, then the following refund policy will be followed. Trips will not be cancelled due to weather.

Assiniboine Lodge: Deposit of $700.00 upon registration. Balance will be due May 1st. Cancel before May 1st refund minus $200.00. Cancel after May 1st no refund. Full refund if replacement found.

Sol Mountain Lodge: Deposit of $500.00 upon registration. Balance will be due on June 1st. All payments are non-refundable unless a replacement is found. If you are unable to come at the last minute, there will be no refunds or credits given. 

Lake O'Hara Lodge: Full payment upon registration. Refund of $175.00 if cancelled. Full refund if replacement found.

Caution

An element of risk is inherent in all the hikes described. Those people who elect to participate should be both aware of and prepared to accept this element of risk as an inherent part of the activity. Completion of a liability waiver and health form is required for each program. This information is kept confidential and will not be used to deny your participation with Alpenglow Nature Hikes.

Protection of Personal Information

Alpenglow Nature Hikes respects your privacy. We protect your personal information and adhere to all legislative requirements of Alberta's Personal Information Protection Act. We do not rent, sell or trade our mailing lists or other personal data. The information you provide will be used to deliver services and to keep you informed about Alpenglow Nature Hikes activities.
